PayPal sending incorrect carrier information
Marking an item as sent shows it as posted in your list of transactions and also notifies the customer their order is on its way. This would be great if it worked properly...
If you use the Royal Mail and do not have tracking information, do not check the box which says "no, I don't have tracking information". Yes you did read that correctly - leave it blank, if you don't PayPal's automatically generated email notification will tell your customer that the carrier is UPS.
We have contacted PayPal several times about this, but as of the time of writing they still haven't fixed this 'feature'.
